The Greatest Gathering of Luminary Guitarists in the History of the Guitar

On the occasion of The Post-CBS Summit, the first Post-CBS Stratocaster produced in the new era is a recreation for Hank Marvin 27 years later of the first Stratocaster to be imported into the UK by EMI for Cliff Richard in 1959 for his iconic guitarist Hank B Marvin. Fender President Bill Schultz and Vice President Dan Smith flew into London with J. Hill, pictured between Clapton and Schultz, Director of Fender AR&D Centre near Jimmy Page's London home in Kensington at the time. With the Fender USA trio, a stellar pack of uniquely British Isles based artists, aka The Britpack, of luminary guitarists, who helped rebrand and relaunch Fender into a new golden era, are here with David Gilmour's Phil Taylor, Al Dutton with Jeff Beck. Alan Rogan with Pete Townshend and Keith Richards and Carter for Jimmy Page, and the advent of Fender Signatures and Iconic Series reproductions of legendary Fenders.
